Cool, clear glacier meltwater flows from the mountains down to the beach here and joins the ocean. I enjoyed this time here in Vik, and could easily have stayed another few days. But tomorrow I'm due back in Raykjavik for the last two days in Iceland.

By the way, this is the hotel here in Vik (Hotel Katla Hofdabrekka). Naturally, it has a hot tub & sauna (I think all the hotels do -- although none have an ice machine or air conditioning, ha ha).
