Dinner at Hendur í Höfn Restaurant -- the only open business in the very quiet coastal village of Þorlákshöfn. Nearly all Icelanders live somewhere on the coast -- almost no one lives in the interior. After dinner, a rocky beach and path provide nice views of the bay and coastline.

Amazingly, there are surfers here! I guess they don't mind the cold water.
Tomorrow I'll travel farther south along the coast to Vik (a town I can finally pronounce).
